Montenegro

Home of the mountains.

Small and mountainous, but not so small when you start riding through it. It tends to look much larger when you hit the numerous twisties over Durmitor or Moracke mountains as you will be greeted by views comparable to the scenes from “The Lord of the Rings”.

Numerous glacial lakes from Kapetanovo to Trnovacko lake will take you along the border with Albania showing a glimpse of what awaits you when you cross the border.

Piva lakes, nicely cuddled with surrounding mountains will force you to make a stop or two and spending the night in Zabljak area will immerse you in local delicacies with the stars-sprinkled sky above.

Spend a moment to visit Djurdjevica tara, highest suspended bridge in Europe and test your stamina in the white rapids of Tara river flowing beneath.

Kotor will offer cultural immersion while 80 curves that will take you to the top of Lovcen will offer you a view that will take your breath away. Try some local cheese and prosciutto on your way down, it will bring you back to life :).
